News From The Reporter

We would like to have more people involved in worship

We would like to include more people in the worship life of our community by compiling a list of names of parishioners who would like to bring the bread and wine forward to the altar at the offertory during the 8 and 10 a.m. services.  This is a beautiful and easy ministry that we all may be part of.  Anyone who can hold the bread box or the flagon (the large vessel with a handle and spout shaped like a pitcher that holds wine) can participate in this ministry.   Parents and children, husbands and wives, family members and friends are welcome.

If you wish to participate, we can pair you up with another parishioner or you can sign with your partner or group already in place.   Your name will be added to a schedule.

Please indicate what service you would like to serve at.

We are also putting together a list of names of parishioners who would like to bring the food basket forward at the offertory.  Again anyone who can help to hold the basket can get involved in this ministry.   Families and individuals are welcomed.

Please contact Pat Stelz aeinterim@att.net or leave a note in the collection plate) or Sandra DeFazio (860-274-5397).

NURSERY CARE – I have 3 people signed up for nursery care during the 10:00 service. Children in nursery care will come in at the peace when the Sunday children come in. I would like to have a few more people so that I can schedule at least 2 people per Sunday. Please see me if you are interested.  Tammy Carissimi

The mite boxes will be in the hallway. Contact Judy Bratt or Tammy Carissimi with any questions.
